screen rotation is locked iphone5

I have a similar problem but swiping up and disabling the rotation lock sign is not helping and under General-> i cant find lock rotation, am i blind or what? srsly its not there, nada, nothing

I wanted to use the sideswitch to lock or unlock the sideswitch but there is no place called lock rotation in general....

using ios 8.1

bought the iphone 5 used, but everything else works fine

Got an ipad mini and it works totaly fine...

I have the feeling I am blind....
