Please needs ur expertise in fixing iphone 5. When I open the setting icon suddenly the phone doesn't work anymore it hang up and cant be turn off nor shut down.what would I do to fix it.?

If the phone screen is stuck on, and you cannot turn off the phone by holding the power button down, you should be able to reset it.

Resetting your device
If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

I was struck how to solve this problem. But the idea of holding reset and home button together solved my problem. I was thinking to take it for service but thanks money and time both saved.
