All of a sudden my exchange email locked up in my iPhone5

This morning my exchange email for work locked up on my iPhone5. It still works on my ipad2. Both are running ios7. I tried to delete the account on my phone and it won't. It just sits there and spins for hours. I also did a system reinstall from icloud back up and it didn't work. Any ideas?
