Q: why aint my imessaging working

Hi

My iMessaging suddenly states an error when i try to activate it!?? Why oh why!

I am still on iOS6 as I dont like the look of iOS7....

"Activation unsuccessful, try and turn imessage on again"

Apple experts, what is happening??
