bought album in iTunes apple tv, now it won't show on my mac.

With the recent update of the apple tv, I found I could buy music from my apple tv using iTunes. And I just did that. I also have an iMac and tried to listen to the album. I found out the album wasn't downloaded in my library. The funny thing is that when I use itunes store on my imac, the album shows that it has already been purchased. I have tried everything, Store, Download available downloads, and nothing. 😠
