Earlier I set a reminder for myself for when I arrived home. Of course I forgot to do the reminder and my iPhone 5 with iOS 7.0.2 did not remind me either. Hours later when I remembered, I wanted to know why it didn't remind me when I arrived home.
When I set the reminder, I saw that the little arrow disappeared. But I didn't notice "when" it went away. I didn't give it much thought other than the fact that it check every 5 to 10 minutes to see where it was at. Thought that was neat to see that it's gonna help save on battery life.
So when it didn't remind me when I arrived home, I have to figure out why the arrow went away. Well every time that I double tap the home button and close out the Reminder List App. The arrow went away.
Now I know, I can leave the app open. BUT when I close all my apps down whenever I am done with the phone. I will "FORGET" to leave the reminder list open. Too bad it can't remind me "Hey dummy, you closed me".
In iOS 6, even with the Reminder List app closed. It kept the little arrow next to the battery. Thus it would remind me as soon as I arrived wherever I was going. Now, it doesn't.
