My screen is locked but somehow the font has increased in size. It is too large to allow me to swipe to unlock or switch off. The phone was recently upgraded to iOs7. This has happen several times since the upgrade. Is it a known problem? How do I access my phone or reduce te font size when it's locked ?

Sounds like you have zoom on, double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off, then go into: Settings>General>Accessibility and turn it off for good.

Thank you for this question and response. I had this problem with my iPhone 5c after upgrading to ios 8. Searched for 2 days to find how to fix. You saved me from going through all the trouble to wipe my phone and start over!!!!
