Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Since I downloaded ios7 my TEXT2GROUP is no longer working; and they said it is a problem ios7 must work on in an update. I then downloaded another group sms program which does want to work on ios7 neither! anyone any help???
What kind of help do you expect from other users in these user to user support forums?
Contact the app developers, it is their responsibility to fix their apps.
I did contact developer and they saud it was a ios7 problem and must be fixed with an ios7 update
Either you misunderstood them and they actually meant that they will have to update their app for iOS 7, or they are idiots.
I am also having a problem with the group text app & its really frustrating as i paid for the full version so i cud text 100 ppl in a group. I am interested to hear if u hav fixed this or not.

We're not the developers, Mel. We're users just like you. If you want to know if the app is fixed or not, YOU will have to contact the developer of the app. This has nothing to do with Apple.

Text2group told m ios7 needs an update for their program to work, but my mind says that they need to update and change their program to work with ios7.
So I still have the problem that text2group is not working on ios7!!!!
I have the same problem with my iOS 7. I downloaded the text2group app to do group texting and it's not working. Doesn't Apple have a group text available on the iPhone 5s? I see a group selection in the text area, but it doesn't allow you to do anything with it. If this text2group app is not good,then what app do we use to send multiple group text with?
Group texting does in fact work in iOS7, and has since iOS6.
Simply turn the feature on.
Created a new message.
Add the desired recipients.
Enter the message then send it.
Diesel vdub, Are you speaking of the app? I cannot find that option under the settings. I am obviously looking in the wrong are.
On the device go to Settings > Messages > Group Messaging and turn it on.
Diesel - this discussion is about the app called "Text2Group." We downloaded and used it because the group messaging feature in IOS allows is too similar to CC in email. Text2Group allows you to BCC text messages to a group. That way, people do not "reply all" when they reply to the group text.
This is one of the key features.
Yes... And apparently, that app is NOT compatible with iOS 7. There is nothing anyone here can do about it. Talk to the developer.
Not to be rude, but the question was asked by Lauradancer007, "Doesn't Apple have a group text available on the iPhone 5s?" to which I answered.
If you have issues or questions with a specific app, stop being dense and ask the app developer. Posting to these user to user support forums provides no benefit.
