Well, I don't know about others, but my mini runs just fine under iOS 7. It is a 64GB model with almost 32GB free. Don't know if that makes any difference. I updated via iTunes on my computer. Updated to 7.0.2 yesterday and that went just as smoothly. I back up regularly to iTunes. I don't use iCloud at all. So far all my apps work as expected as well as the camera connection cable and the VGA out adaptor. So it can't be the new OS itself, or all of us would be tearing our hair out.

I hope that you find a way to get your mini going full steam again.

From what I experience and what I read in many posts so far, after the update things became a bit slower or not running so smoothly as before. For example if you go to settings and press different settings, it takes sometimes more than a second, before you get the reaction.

When the last update came out, iOS 6 , I did not see so many problems as now after 7. I guess it was not entirely tested before released.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

 Cheers, Tom 😉
