Q: Dollars not pounds

I live in the UK but the App Store is trying to charge me in dollars not pounds. Can anyone help, please??

    Are you logged in to the UK App Store? 

     

    Check that you are in fact not in the wrong county's store - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1311

     

    And if you are trying to buy something in say, the USA store, note that payment and billing information has to be in the same country as the store you are using.  Stores do not sell outside of their native country, and they do not offer any form of currency exchange.
