I can't get ios7 on my ipod touch

Hi,


I have tried getting ios7 on my ipod so I went to setting then to general and the to software update, it said cheaking for updates and the it stop loading and said iOS 6.1.3 Your software is up to date! what can i do someone help!!!!

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. IPod 4th gen cannot install iOS7, since it does not have the technical capability to handle iOS 7. That's why you're getting the "your software is up to date" message.

Update (iOS 6.1.3) is the end of the line for device update. There isn't enough ram in iPod Touch (4th gen) to support iOS7


iPod Touch (4th gen.) only has 256 MB ram whereas the iPod Touch (5th gen.) has 512 MB ram to support iOS7.


There is nothing you can do! . . . If you want iOS7, you must purchase iPod Touch (5th generation).

I think that apple should release a toned down or derived version of ios7 for ipod4 because half of the people only want ios 7 for the looks right? Im sure the looks (UI) won't use that ram by replacing the old (UI). So they should add an ios 7 update thats mainly for a UI update and if possible add some other features as well. (Status bar, home screen, camera fx) that are presented with ios 7.
