how do you keep your iPhone unlocked for longer than 5 minutes? say, 45minutes?

While jogging, I want to 'like' Pandora songs, but must I keep unlocking?!?! - really frustrating. I could keep phone unlocked for entire jog under old system.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.2, keep unlocked for Pandora

Answers here marked solved are incorrect - at least for iPhone X. It just doesn't (any longer) work as described by many respondents. There seems to be no seeting to increase the ability to remain unlocked unless you look at it again.

If you have face ID turned off, it lets you select a time for it to remain unocked (from 1 minute to 4 hours), but with face ID on, it's set to immediate and there appears to be no way to change it. (I suspect finger print ID works in a similar fashion, but I skipped those generations, updating straight to iPhone X from an older model)
