I have been reading approximately 10 hours a day and after 2 weeks, I gotten nauseous, vertigo, and distressed as you can imagine. I'm cutting back to little or no reading or even looking at the screen. I can feel the discomfort behind my eyes just glancing at the screen. A good nights sleep alleviates the problem somewhat, but a day or two may be called for and moderation afterwards.

The Reduce Motion setting only turns off the Paralax effect for the picture on your wallpaper. The other effects, zooming in and out when you open and close apps are built into the OS.

If you want to really get Apple to hear your complaint you need to leave feedback at: http://www.apple.com/feedback. They don't monitor these forums the way you think they would. The problem with people becoming motion sick by using their phone has been noted in a lot of threads, and I have even seen it on the news. So please leave feedback at the above link and see if your voice will help Apple come up with a fix for this, or at least an option to turn it off for those with your same problem.
