How do I delete a song that was accidentally downloaded from icloud on IOS 7?

When I first downloaded IOS 7, all the songs that my siblings purchased from itunes showed up in my music. All these songs had a cloud and an arrow pointing down next to it which of course meant that I could download it from icloud. I didnt really like this so I was able to turn it off by going to setting>music> and switching the "show all Music" to off. That finally got rid of all those songs that were stored in icloud however, I had accicdentally downloaded some of the songs when I was scrolling through my music.

Now, I want to delete these songs but whenever I try swiping left on the song, I dont get the option to delete it from my phone. The next thing I tried was to connect my phone to itunes and try "transferring my purchases" so I could just delete the song in my itunes library. When I did this, these particular songs did not sync over to my itunes library and I've tried this a couple of times.

Does anyone know how to get rid of these songs?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.2

If there is anyone out there still struggling with this like I was I think I have solved this without deleting all the music.

The problem:

There is music in your iOS 7 Music App that is from iCloud, that you cannot 'just swipe left and delete'. No idea where it came from, obviously iCloud but no idea how it got there.

Solution:

Go to Settings/Music and Turn ON 'Show All Music'. Go back to you Music App, you will see a number of songs that have the iCloud icon next to them. Find the Song(s) that you could not delete, touch the iCloud icon to download them to you phone. Wait for the download to finish THEN you can 'just swipe left and delete'. Do this with all of your previous undeleteable songs then go back to Settings/Music and Turn OFF 'Show All Music'.

Hope this helps!

Wow, you did it the hard way, when there was a really easy way. Connect the phone or iPad to your computer. Click on its name in iTunes. Choose Transfer Purchases from the File menu to get them into the iTunes library if they aren't there already. Then click on the music tab. Uncheck the album names. Click Sync.

And if you don't want to download purchased songs in the future just go to Settings/Music and uncheck automatic sync.

Ya it wouldn't show up in my music library.

The songs did have the cloud icon next to them when I switched on "show all music". Even though it said it wasn't on my phone, it would still be there when I switched off "show all music". I had to click the cloud button on each of the songs to download them. Once I did that they showed up in my music library and from there it was pretty easy to delete.

This works. But for me the offending item returns almost immediately after going through this!! :-/

Argghhhh! Why can't I just delete it??!! Is it possible to delete from the cloud?! This seems to be where the problem lies.

Ya I've noticed this happening to me as well. I dont know how to delete something from the cloud but i think logging out of your account under "iTunes & App Store" in your phone settings should put a stop to it. I'm surprised Apple hasnt come out with an update or something to fix this issue yet. It's getting really annoying.
