i am having problems getting songs from a home made cd onto my dell pc in order to download them into my itunes library

I am having a problem getting information from a home-made cd onto my dell pc in order to download into my itunes library. i have done this many, many times in the past with no difficulties. as i type in the song titles they are being shuffled aound. had anyone encountered this before? can you be of help?
