husband asked by iTunes for MY OLD (no longer used) Apple ID password

This is a weird one.

We have had iPhones since the 3G. Our last models were the 4S.

Yesterday we switched to Phone 5S.

We each have our own Apple ID - we do NOT share an iTunes account.

However, Husband's phone keeps prompting him for the password for an old, no-longer-used Apple ID of MINE. (I haven't used it for at least 3 or 4 years).

I can't figure out why this is happening - and I can't figure out how to make it stop.

At no time did we ever share Apple ID's or iTunes accounts or email addresses.

What can I do?

Or who should I call?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.2

I should mention, too, that iTunes has NOT finished restoring his iPhone from the iCloud and it doesn't seem to be finishing any time soon - this is very very perplexing.

His phone isn't restored from the iCloud (we're doing it wirelessly)

And he can't update his iOS to the latest version of iOS7 because the restoring isn't finished.

Help!
