I too downloaded ios7 and now have no access to kindle books

Have you tried updating the app? I belive it has to be updated to work with IOS7

Amazon stated to update the app before upgrading.

Are all 160 books actually downloaded to the app or just in the Cloud? If they are just in the cloud then you only have to download the books you want on the device to read.

If all 160 were already on your device, then perhaps what you should try is to first deregister the Kindle App. Hit the little gear in the lower right, tap "update" next to your name and then Deregister This Kindle. Then close the app (including double clicking the Home button and swiping the Kindle app upwards), reopen it and re-register it.

If that does not help, perhaps deleting the app itself and re-downloading it will help.

I followed Swandy's suggestion, and it WOrKED! Thanks. I did have to tap each book I wanted to access but they loaded very quickly

I just had to go to my kindle app and deregister in it's setting and then register again, and they are ThErE! Yippy!

I just updated my Kindle and now my home button has disappeared! Only the book I've been reading is there, all my others are gone. Where is the little gear in the lower right? It's not there! Everything is so different now!!

Tap on the top of the page of your book and there should be the home button top left. Once you're home you should be able to see the gear on bottom right.

I finally figured it out. Nothing whatsoever like the old version.
