Q: Closing apps

Since I've update my phone I can't close my apps an they keep running. Holding the app doesn't bring up the wiggly X to close it out. How do I do it now? Thanks

iPhone 4S, iOS 7

Double tap the home button and swipe upwards on the preview of the App (not the App Icon).

How to Close Apps

Double Tap the Home Button... Then swipe the App (not the icon) Upwards... Tap the Home Button when finished.
