Q: Deleted videos or photos do not appear in iPhoto trash, Deleted videos or photos do not appear in iPhoto trash

Hello,

I'm trying to free up space on my MacBook Air by deleting videos & photos, but when I attempt to do so, the supposed deleted items do not appear in the iPhoto trash.  Even if I drag to the trashcan in the list.  What am I doing wrong?  I delete manually the items, and they do disappear from view, but...where do they go/?
