I can't delete episodes of a TV series that I bought on iTunes to make room for more. How do I delete? I tried tapping and holding on the video, and I tried swiping. Please help!!

TThat is fine for a movie! But it won't let you do individual TV episodes.
i figured it out though.
settings>general>usage>video>TV show>find the eps you want, click on edit in the top right corner, then select the ones you want to delete

I have 3 movies I purchased from iTunes. On my 5's and both pads the 3 movies will not delete when I go to USAGE ETC. Also, in usage I only Movies, no TV.
The funny thing is in the master list of Movies on my iMac 27, the 3 movies are not listed. It's like they were downloaded and then erased from iTunes master list.
Why the TV show don't appear in the USAGE also makes me crazy.
BTW, Apple support can't figure it out.
I am having a similar problem. When I go to usage and then videos there is no films that show up but in videos I can play the movie and it's clearly downloaded because it's taking up the space. I tried syncing and the video doesn't even show up on my mac. I think it's an issue with icloud but I don't know for sure. Hope you find a solution.

I Cant delete any of my movies and I think it's all from the newest update ios7.1.2
I was having the same problem. Since the last update, I couldn't seem to delete videos in the video app using the edit option, and the settings>general>usage method wouldn't work for me either. My iPad was full and I was a bit frustrated. What finally worked was to go to tv shows in the video app and left swipe the episodes that had been downloaded into my iPad. A delete button appeared, which enabled me to manually delete episode by episode. Hope that helps.
Try signing out of ITunes and then logging back in. Videos went away and available storage came back.
