Don't trust that if you see it on a website. You can only get that message from an antivirus website or from an antivirus like Sophos or ClamXav.
To make sure your computer hasn't got malware, download ClamXav and run a scan. If you have a virus, it will probably be for Windows, but you can infect other computers even if it doesn't affect to your MacBook Pro
i am currently doing a scan on clamxav.
son the scan i just click on the left hand column where it has my user and then click scan right?
It will probably scan the user's folders, but not Mac OS X folders. I recommend you to run a full scan
Also i was on a website then clicked on something and that took me to another site. the url was like antivirus.. sumtin like that.
Then it came up in a little pop up saying i have backdoor and i need to click ok to find out more.
I just command+Q safari then reopened and it took me bak to my homepage
Be careful with what you watch in the Internet. That type of things only create issues
if there are any problems will a clamXav scan pick it up and fix?
how do i make sure im running a full scan?
ClamXav will tell you if there's malware, and if so, it may ask you to delete it
Read "First Scan" > http://clamxav.com/documentation.php#overview
k and this backdoor trojan can be removed if it is there.
Do you think it can be on my computer?? Or was it just a scam?
Cos i thought apple had fixed this virus
Apple fixes security problems, but can't control websites which provide malware. I think it was a scam, but it's better to make sure you don't have any malware
It is a scam.

k so i shoudlnt worry?
Theoretically, you shouldn't worry, but check what ClamXav says. Klaus is right but you may have a Windows virus, although it's very difficult
I am just scanning my user. My user comes up on the left on clam xav and i am jsu click on that and then start scan
