I get grey screen for a long time then finally a folder that blinks finder face and question mark. When I restart with option pressed I get 2 boxes with different arrows, nothing else, no HDD or boot options. The super slot load makes lots of noise during

I,ve tried the holding the options on start up but it just sounds like it's trying to eject something from the multi slot load player, but there's nothing in there. I never see my HDD during any phase of this particular fix. I've tried holding down the command & option with the P & R. I've tried the command & option with O & F. Afterwards it still won't boot past the long blank screen, to eventually the blinking folder with the Finder's Face on it.

Any other tricks anybody knows of, to help?
