I try to extend my network with a airport extreme from miy ios device, and when i go to the "extenc network" option, i get a option to save password, wathever i choose, i get a message with the text "unexpectet error". Can someone help me with this?

Try setting up the extended network by first placing all of the AirPort base stations in the same room as your iOS device. Use the AirPort Utility on the iOS device and go through the automated steps to configure the Extreme to extend the network.
However, this will only work if the wireless router you are extending is another AirPort (Express, Extreme, or Time Capsule). Is it?
