I keep getting message "Easy 5k was not installed on Ipod because it requires a newer version if Ipod software". Yet itunes tell me my Ipod is up to date. I also ran the app update as well, turned my Ipod off/on & I cannot get this app synced to my ipod. Any thoughts please.

requires iOS 5 or later. It appears you have a 2G iPod since they can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1
You can get a newer model iPod.
If you do not want to do this, try getting a refund from Apple
My Ipod is a 3rd Generation 32GB Ipod Touch. I bought it specifically to download these jeff Galloway apps. For years they said it would be available for andriod & hasn't. I was tired of waiting.
So do you know what else could be the problem?
Are you sure you really do not have a 2G iPod? Those can only go to 4.2.1

Ok, 32GB is etched on the back A1288. It has YouTube, Safari, Wi-Fi (I am connected to my home Wi-Fi).
Also, when I called Jeff Galloway products they never said anything about it needing to be a specific Generation Ipod. Just that I could not ue my shuffle. It had to be a Ipod Touch or Iphone.

Thus, either get a newer model iPod or try to get a refund from Apple.
What generation IPod Touch do I need to buy for these Jeff Galloway programs to work?
Yo need a 3G or later iPod. However, the 3G can only go to iOS 5.1.1 and I would not purchase one unless yo get a very good deal, A 4G can go to iOS 6.1.3. A 5G can go to iOS 7 and beyond. Unless yo get a good deal, I would get a 5g
The App had an Update on 09/23/13. Had I not updated the App before I synced it to the device, would it have worked? Do that mean every time I ty to use the program it will become obsolete in a matter of time? I am not big Apple fan. I bought this iPod on Craigslist as I just wanted to use it for these running programs.
Yes, it is likely that the last update dropped compatibility for less than iOS 5.
In the future, only update app directly on the iPod and then trnsfer then to your computer.

If you update apps on iTunes on your computer you can get an update that is not compatible with your iPod.
