Oct 6, 2013 6:14 AM in response to hockeymom9462by discountdom,Hi,
Unfortunately, this is a feature that Apple have taken away.
The best way to let them know you want it back is via http://www.apple.com/feedback/

Oct 30, 2013 5:35 AM in response to hockeymom9462by SteveNorthYorks,Ok, so now my mailbox is getting very big, so big that it is limiting how much memory is left for other apps.
Has many one found a workaround to the unlimited e-mails stored on the iPhone or iPad?
When I try to delete mails, and the empty the trash, my iOS just loads them all up again unless I delete them from my server (Which I don't want to do).
Help please
Steve

Feb 21, 2014 8:57 AM in response to SteveNorthYorksby sergejsu,I agree this is a complete **** and brainlessness on Apple Inc. side, as on regular occasion I am getting notification that there is no more storage left, and email box is somewhere between 500MB and 1GB

Feb 21, 2014 9:21 AM in response to sergejsuby TJBUSMC1973,You have 500 MB worth of saved emails? That's a lot of emails to choose to keep saved for posterity.
Do you really need that many emails to be saved long-term in your email account?

Feb 21, 2014 9:33 AM in response to TJBUSMC1973by sergejsu,Thanks, but issue of pain for me is on opposite side, as per thread above:
I do not want so many emails stored on iPad storage.
All I want to be able to limit emails stored to, say, last 3 days.
If older emails are available available only via search on server , I am fine that.
With this change in iOS7 Apple undertook shameless effort to press users to buy more expensive higher strife devices, and for sooner depreciation of previous line of models.

Feb 21, 2014 11:21 AM in response to sergejsuby TJBUSMC1973,If it's a feature of iOS 7 that you don't like, and iOS 7 is designed to work on the newest devices, then how is this issue an effort by Apple to coerce people to buy newer devices?
