I have just put IOS 7 on my iPad and the Control Center bar including the flashlight and camera does not appear. I have tried restarting the iPad and looked around for hints to solve the problem, but I am stymied. Any ideas?
On which version of iPad?
Not all control center features are available on all devices. From the iPad manual there's no button for the flashlight, jsut airplane mode, sifi, bluetooth, do not disturb and rotation lock, also with the camera and timer.
My model is MC958LL/A and firmware number is 4.12.09. I have written down that is a 2nd generation iPad. Here's more info from the sales slip. iPad 2 WI_FI 3G 32 GB. Does this help? Does that mean that all is not going to work on this?

No flashlight for the iPad 2, but you should have the Control Center and camera.

If it were applicable, that space in teh lower middle is where air play and air drop would be. I do see the flashlight on my touch though.
This is just what mine looks like too. I'm guessing from your reply and the one from Apfelwurm that my model of iPad just won't take the second icon bar. Would be nice if that was info that was easily available. Very glad to have some input!!! Thanks to you both. :<)
