Nov 4, 2013 9:38 PM in response to Trevormitchell1212by darcyw77,★HelpfulThis did NOT work for me. I hate the new passcode so I shut it off as soon as I found out I could. Most of my music is still on my phone but nothing new will transfer. Same problem as everyone else -- iPhone 5, IOS7 and iTunes 11.2. I don't know where the issue is but get it fixed please. Apps transfer perfectly. Apple, you need to be watching these posts because I'm about ready to chuck my phone in the river!! I have music I need for concert practices and having to drag my laptop everywhere is getting really old!

Nov 7, 2013 7:08 PM in response to ajal1by ebslsc,★HelpfulI have something to share. I went through the music synch process numerous times and never saw the music on my iPhone. (See my posts above.)
On my iPhone, I went to Settings>Music>Show All Music, and turned it on. My new music is now available on my iPhone, but it shows up as being in the Cloud.
It did not ever show as "transferring" to my iPhone, although Siri was trying to find it for me.
I'm not sure what this means to me - that it's in the Cloud and on my phone - but at least I can listen to Bob Seger on my iPhone now!

Nov 11, 2013 11:31 AM in response to ajal1by finalnicolas,★HelpfulHello, I am writing from France.
I have exactly the same problem: impossible to send my music from my macbookpro to my iphone5. Everything was working before mavericks/itunes 11.1.3 installations. Now on itunes in "on my iphone" tab, songs appear in grey with grey dotted circles on the left.
It's very frustrating and I don't want to try by erasing my music on the iphone before restoring it. Apple must fix that quicly.
Thanks
Merci

Nov 11, 2013 1:36 PM in response to finalnicolasby jelhardt,★HelpfulHas anyone seen this problem: I was able to get my songs to my iphone 5 but on about 25% of the songs, only a portion of the song transferred. I have many songs that show the correct play time but a portion of the song is blank air time...
There doesn't seem to be any pattern. Some songs from a certain artist are fine others have blank time. And the blank time varries from song to song. sometimes as much as 1/2 the song, sometimes as little as 10 seconds.
Any ideas? I'm growing very frustrated with the latest Apple updates.

Nov 15, 2013 8:04 AM in response to ajal1by funniehuh,★HelpfulI was able to finally find the answer!
If you go to your iPhone/iPad/iPod go to the ACTUAL Music App (not settings).
On the bottom of the app select the "More" button.
Select the "Shared" option (picture of a house with a music note in ti).
Check off the name of the playlist of your iTunes Library and not that of your device. In my case, I had my iPhone checked instead of the name of my iTunes Library. When I selected the iTunes Library, I got all of my songs and got rid of the grey circles!
Hope this helps! Now someone translate in French to help our buddy (finalnichols) from France thats having this issue...

Nov 15, 2013 1:36 PM in response to ajal1by finalnicolas,hey funniehuh!
The French buddy is coming back!
Thanks for the tips but i can't find anywhere the "shared" option in the music app of the iphone. Can you send a pic? Is there something to do on the settings app of the iphone or in itunes on the mac?
Thanks

Nov 15, 2013 1:50 PM in response to funniehuhby finalnicolas,Hey funniehuh!
The "shared" option appeared on the music app of the iphone, then i selected the itunes library and all my songs came back!
Unfortunately it only works when my mac and itunes are on...
Thanks!

I don't have a "shared" option in the music app. How did finalnicolas find it?

Nov 16, 2013 9:25 AM in response to darcyw77by funniehuh,darcyw77: on your iDevice goto your Settings App-> Music
2 questions: is "Show All Music" turned on or off? and Under "Home Sharing" does it show login request or does it have your Apple ID?
I haven't tried this in person because I'm way from my main iTunes Library Computer, but I would assume that by turning off "Home Sharing" then Syncing your iDevice would encourage the device to physically pull the songs/videos that were purchased or downloaded from the computer to your iDevice vs wanting to "Airplay" it when your at home around your main Library.
This could also help finalnichols too. Please check your the "Home Sharing" settings and let me know if this helps!
I won't be able to try myself for 8 hours (after work).

Show All Music is turned on and Home Sharing shows my Apple ID.
I removed my Apple ID and turned off Show all Music and resynced my iPhone. I still have a lot of missing music.
