Thanks Allan. However, it seems the iphone is in an infinite restore loop. After a successful restore, based upon the message window, from iTunes (where my backup is located), the iphone continues to display "connect to iTunes" message and the only options I have to select are: (1) restore from iCloud; (2) restore from iTunes; and (3) set up a new iPhone. Any ideas?

Well a couple, Do you have the data backed up? Meaning any photos and other non-app information. You could setup up as a new iphone and then re-configure it with all your stuff that was there before. I sometimes do this to clean out apps that I no longer use. Yes, it is a pain but as long as you have access to your pictures and tunes and anything that isn't an app somewhere else there is no harm.

Paul, I was thinking about that approach, but wasn't sure exactly what it would do. Yes, I backed up my photos, tunes, contacts on iTunes. Might be my only option at this point. Thank you.
