I'm trying to send a picture via iMessage to a friend but it's been stuck on sending... For the past two hours. I'm on wifi and still nothing. Anyone have an explanation on this, is there a size limit for iMessage photos???
Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. Then try and send a message.
If/when this occurs - you can force your message to send as an SMS by long-pressing on the pending message and then press Send as Text Message.
You're kidding. Just restart the phone. Resetting network settings is extreme advice. You lose all your passwords to any wifi network you've ever connected to.
Just reset the phone. Losing all your wifi passwords is not worth it. Resetting network settings is terrible advice. The fact that wifi passwords can't all be viewed on the phone and a screenshot taken for backup is more proof that apple software is developed by 25 year olds with simple lives and infinite free time.
It's a shame no one noted that all wifi passwords are lost when using this solution.

Of course resetting network will make you lose all your networks, it doesn't need to be said. Resetting the phone will do the same thing. Resetting the phone takes hours, network takes minutes. Retyping wifi passwords is no big deal.
