Q: Gifting a song on iTunes Store iPad app

I can't find the option to gift an individual song on the iTunes iPad app. I can gift on a computer, but not on an iPad. I don't want to buy a gift card, but I want to pay for an individual song to send to someone else. Thank you!

    Hey reallilybart,

     

    You'll follow these directions to gift a song on an iOS device. Although the screenshots are for an iPhone, the directions would also apply to an iPad.

     

    1. Find an item in the App store or iTunes store that you wish to gift.

    2. Tap the Share icon in the upper right. Tap the Gift icon from the resulting screen.
    3. Sign in to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.
    4. Type the email address for the person you wish to send the iTunes Gift.

    5. If you like, add a message.
    6. Pick the day you want to send the gift.
    7. Select a theme for your gift.
    8. Tap Buy, and then tap "Buy to confirm."
