MacBook Pro/HP 1050/Drivers

I bought a printer (HP Deskjet 1050A J410) but when i trie to install it it sais something like "operating system not supported. It is only compatible with 10.6 and earlier versions".

Any ideas on what should I do? I know I have to install the drivers but I have no idea on where to get for that...

It is very difficult to offer troubleshooting suggestions when the "os version" you are using is unknown as each os has their own troubleshooting solutions regarding printers.


Read the user manual that came with the printer as well as contact HP or visit their customer service website for assistance.


Use Software Update to see if Apple has any drivers. If not, again, contact HP.
