Sep 29, 2013 5:34 PM in response to foolishmammalby Dnawer,Good day, since you mention Globe Telecom ISP Provider, I believe the problem now is with the ISP not the router or your Operating system. We have the same ISP, mine is Globe Broadband, when I'm connected to another Network outside my home I have no problems with safari, appstore etc. However we can't do anything about it because we both know that Globe is terrible with its customer service, so we either wait for its repair or switch to FIBR? Sep 29, 2013 6:58 PM in response to kevmmartinby darkinvincible,Hi Guys,
Good day!
I have exactly the same problem. Tried all the workarounds posted here but no avail.
Also tried to install the combo updates and uninstall recent purchases to app store but also no avail.
Unfortunately, I'm a GLOBE TELECOM subscriber and having exactly the same problem with you guys.
Now i'm using internet at my office (not GLOBE)and now mac app store, itunes app store, safari and other apple apps working perfectly fine now. I can assume it is GLOBE's who has the problem. I don't want to call Globe CS because they are so terrible and the time you spent talking with them is not worthit. I hope this will be addressed by Globe TELECOM.

Sep 30, 2013 3:21 AM in response to Linc Davisby kevmmartin,I can use the internet using Safari already. AppStore and other apps can connect to the internet as well. Maybe the problem yesterday was the Globe Broadband internet connection.
I'm still very thankful of your help. Thank you. Everything's working fine now. -
Jun 27, 2015 6:24 AM in response to kevmmartinby adeelshaheer,I tried everything like setting auto date and time, installing security update 2015-004, played with keychains, deleted my login keychains, make the keychains of "class 3 public" as trust always , created new admin user, unistalled sophos and little snitch and lot other but nothing worked ................FINALLY i stumbled on this http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/110940/only-chrome-can-access-the-inter net
found that i couldnt ping or curl it was icmp time out
SO for me it was dnsresponder problem...........
followed this — need to restart mDNSResponder after every boot up “https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3514492” to restart my DNS & IT WORKED (i have osx 10.9.5)
It gave me error when i said to unload dns, but when i gave this second command
sudo launchctl load -F /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.mDNSResponder.plist
seems it wasnt loading on reboot
it loaded the dns and now i can use safari , app store etc
i dont know yet if i have to reload mDNSResponder on reboot or not.. i've to check that later
dont know why chrome was able to connect to internet without this dns and other apps can't?????
Any way i'm done with this after wasting lot of time............
Hope this will help someone

First open safari,
enter preferences,
choose the advanced panel,
click "changes setting" of Proxies in the bottom,
then uncheck the "Auto Proxy Discovery" in the pop-up window.
click OK.

Oct 8, 2015 12:00 AM in response to kevmmartinby Felicisima,For the people who can't fix with proxies because they seem fine, or ran into problems with El Capitan, who have internet with Chrome but no apple apps I found this solution:
System Preferences, Network, Assist Me, Continue etc... and out of nowhere its fixed.
