Should I update iPad 2 to ios7?
Wondering whether to update iPad 2 to new iOS 7, or wait. Are there a lot of problems with the new system on the iPad 2? What's the verdict as this point? Many thanks.
iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

according to this reputable site, you should wait: http://osxdaily.com/2013/09/16/wait-before-updating-these-to-ios-7/

I did the update and have had NO problems and like the new look and feel of it...it has some great features! Id say GO FOR IT!!!!
Many thanks. The article mentions iOS 7.0, but now I think it has been debugged to iOS 7.0.2. Anything on the latest update?
it was a minor update. Read the details here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1685
I did the 7.0.2 as well....seems the same to me. a few minor changes. I didnt even bother reading that article...IOS7 is by far better that IOS6.
Gotcha. Guess I'll wait since I like the look and feel of iOS 6.1.3 and don't want to risk possible hassles just yet. Is there a way to update to 6.1.4 without updating to iOS 7?

That was a Bug fix for iPhone 5 only.
You can only update to the current version.
Cool. Many thanks.
Hi, what iOS did you have before the update? What happen to your apps? Games? Etc.., battery? Does it slow down the iPad 2?
Thanks

I am using the iPad 2 with iOS 6.1.3. I like this interface and decided to take the advice of shldr2thewheelabove. I am still using the iOS 6.1.3 without a hitch. The only minor annoyance is that about 5 or 6 Apps can't be updated unless you update the system, so the APPS app keeps telling me there are 5 or 6 more updates available than there actually are. I will wait till the support community folks who know what they are doing give me the green light. Otherwise I have no need or desire to risk hassles for a new look I don't even care about.
Thanks William,
I'll follow you decision. I will remain in IOS 6.1.3 too.
