I added a folder to the Desktop & Wallpaper to make it a slideshow but when they go into the setting the pictures get randomized and I need them to be in the same order in which they are in the folder. Please help!
In system preferences, desktop/screen saver, do you have change pictures and randomized checked?
I have this too. The randomized box is not checked. It simply changes the order of the pictures from the order in the folder (which is numerical) to a random order in the Sys pref desktop pane, which shows the thumbnail pictures.
After doing some testing I figured out my problem (it might be yours to). The System Preferences window shows the pictures in alphabetical/numerical order. I had my pictures numbered 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,...
However, all single digit numbers past two were automatically moved to the back. I then numbered the 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11,12,13,14,... and it was in order in System Preferences. In short make shure you have the same amount of Numerical digits for each picture. (use zeros as placeholders).
