My IPAD has no sound...

(A) Reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Note: Data will not be affected.

(B) Reset all settings

Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings

Note: Data will not be affected but settings will be reset.

Take a look at page 8. Once you click this link, the PDF should display on your Safari window. You can elect to download it to your iBooks app.

I had this problem after I downloaded iOS 7.4. Hold down the home button and the sleep button at the same time until you see the apple logo. This will refresh your iPad and should fix the problem. If it doesn't, make sure your iPad isn't on mute and see if there is dirt clogging the speakers. Hope this helps!

The sleep button is at top right part of iPad....is on same area as volume and mute buttons. The home button is above the charging thing....sorry, don't know what to call it

You felt that the photo did not clearly demonstrate where these buttons were located?
