iPhone 4s with iOS 7.0.2 Battery Drains FAST!

People on this thread have already done all the battery saving measures, it is a problem with 7.0.2

There are thousands of people with the battery issues, there are tens of millions upgrades to iOS7.

So, because only thousands are experiencing problems that delegitimizes the issue?

No, but that unproves your statement that it is iOS. It might be a combonation of phone and iOS, or apps or data that aggravate the issues, or whatever. I assume that Apple is working hard to get it away with next updates. Some of the issues were already publicized during the beta testing period.

Recently I have been facing a serious problem with my iPhone 4s. The battery is draining quickly, I mean very quickly, especially when I am using wifi or 3G. 3G to be more specific.

I have been charging my iPhone 4s at work on the computer USB cable. I don't know if this damages the battery, I believe it has already happened or maybe it messes up the battery life and percentage.

Sometime when I am talking on the phone and I have like 47% it shuts down, whenever I turn on my 3G after a couple of minutes even when i have 70% it shuts down then I wait a couple of minutes and I will be able to turn it back on, it works for a like 1-2 minutes then it shuts down again. I seriously can't use 3G!!! The iPhone will not let me! Sometimes when I open the camera to take pictures, the iPhone turns off!

Is there any way to fix this, has anybody faced this problem, how can I fix it? I have done a restore but it did not work, if I have done it corrrectly.

I currenlty running iOS 7.0.2.

Guess what happened right now? I had my iPhone in the charger, it was 100%, I unplugged it and layed on the bed and opened my gmail, it came down to 78%, I opened the email I recieved about you replying to my discussion here the battery read 28% then the iPhone turned off!!!

I have a Garmin Edge 500 bicycle computer, and there it is recommended to charge via wall adapter, not USB. I would recommend to use the wall charger, and charge your phone for 8 hours, regardless of whether it's 100% charged or not. Go from there.

This is absurdly bad and not to be corrected with just a few settings!

The best thing to do is ask Genius in the Apple Store to have a look at it, they have the equipment to test the battery and the battery circuits and the slot where the connector goes in. Make an appointment to not spill waiting time.

Would they replave my iPhone if needed? This is crazy problem, I will try to charge it for 8 hours like pommi suggested, I shall not unplug it even if it was 100%? I heared keeping it longer would damage the battery too, no?

Neither the charger nor the USB connector of the computer can damage the battery by having it connected a long time. Replacing the iPhone when there is a hardware failing inside? AFAIK when the iPhone is less than a year yes, in Europe now the obligatory warrantee is 2 years.

@firaskurdi I think there is something wrong with your phone. Go to Apple and have it checked.

Same thing is happening to me... I have an iPhone 4S running ios 7.0.2.. I charge it to 100% in morning and it comes to 30% around 2pm.. Some times I have to charge my phone 3 to 4 times in a day.. Battery comes down 10% within 5mins use.. Even I have turned all settings like parallax nd other things off.. I'm really worried about this that my phones battery is damaged or it is due to ios 7.0.2 bug or something like that..
