Q: Problems accessing iCloud mail from my MacBook Air

I have an icloud.com email address which I access from my MacBook Air (OS X 10.8.5). I have used it for several months without a problem. Two days ago I suddenly could not access my email anymore. When I try to log on to www.icloud.com to check my account, I get an error message saying "iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server". And on Mac Mail (version 6.6) I get a similar error message saying: "There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “iCloud” or try again. The server returned the error: The connection to the server “p02-imap.mail.me.com” on port 993 timed out."

And this weekend I tried to set up my new iPod and I could not use my Apple ID on that one either. I could use it to log on to this forum though so it is not a password problem.

Could it be my ISP (PLDT Fibr) here in the Philippines that has changed something? Earlier in the week everything worked fine and I upgrades my iPhones and iPad to ios 7 with no problem. But if I call my ISP I am not even sure what to ask them.
