Hi,
I recently updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 7.0.2 and now have a persistent (1) badge on my settings icon.
I have done a full restore.
I have reset all settings and gone through the set up wizard.
The badge is still there. It is irritating me beyond belief.
Any further advice please?

Ya, me too. I've got an apple tech guy on this for me. Expecting a call tomorrow about it.
Talked to an Apple rep over the phone. Attempted doing a bunch of things, none worked. The only thing that worked is restoring my phone, and during the setup proceeding to set up as a new iPhone. If you check, there should be no more badge on the settings. The only problem is if you go to restore from a backup, even after setting up as a new phone, it'll come back (at least it did for me). Guess that means I'll have to manually get all my apps and stuff again; good thing it's a new phone with only a few apps haha
Yup. Exact same thing for me. Had to re setup my phone. Kind of a giant pain in the ***, but the badge is gone.
