Need to change my ICloud account...

Over a year ago I changed my Apple ID email from an old account. I changed the email and password and all was fine until the IOS 7 update. The old email became my ICloud ID for some reason. It won't accept the password I have now and I can't delete it because I have to have the password. This is only on my iphone. m"My IPad, IPad Mini, Apple TV and IPods all have remained with the updated Apple ID. It's just my phone. They are all linked and when using ICloud they are all linked there. I can't understand why this has happened. I have tried to change the password or recover it but when using the iForgot thing and putting in the email, it says it has sent a link and I haven't received one. I tried using the security questions and it says none of them are correct.

I literally have no idea what is going on! Help me! :')

Go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.
