Q: Trackpad acting up

My trackpad seems to have stopped working out of no where after doing a system update. Can someone please help me figure out what to do.

    This is the standard Apple support article for trackpads:

    In addition, a very through cleaning of the trackpad will restore functionality.

     

    Also open the MBP and check the battery for expansion. That has on occasion been responsible for trackpad problems.
