Oct 21, 2013 10:00 AM in response to lkendrisby cigma_ricardo,Somehow 10.8.5 broke bonjour... My epson printer is definitively connected. I can ping it using its static address. I can even force to use the printer thru lpd protocol, but that's not how it is intend to work... besides that, I need the scanner as well, that does not work without bonjour. Further evidence is that my other mac that has not been updated work perfecly fine. Any idea how to fix bonjour?

Dec 25, 2013 6:56 PM in response to lkendrisby HaydenfromQld,So Does Maverick Fix this issue?
Im trying to sort out my inlaws wireless printing issues. They have a mac running 10.6.8 works fine wirelessly and USB. They have another mac running 10.8.5 and this mac will not see the printer directly. I can print via mac 1 using a shared connection. But if you deselect mac 1 sharing options then mac 2 cannot see the printer. I can print via usb and via the shared connection using mac 1. But not directly.... So if Bonjour is no good on 10.8.5 does the update to mavericks fix it?
Thanks

Jan 20, 2014 10:40 AM in response to HaydenfromQldby lappen7,Has anyone figured this out? I am having the same problem and I have tried everything to fix this. I have a Macbook Pro running 10.8.6 and Im trying to print to a wireless Brother MFC printer. It only works when I reboot my computer. After about 30 minutes, the computer can no longer find the network printer unlessI reboot again. Does Maverick fix this?
