Apple TV wishlist doesn't sync with iTunes

Hi!

I've recently discovered that movies I had added to my wishlist on last gen's Apple TV don't show up in wishlist neither on my Mac's iTunes, nor in any of the iOS devices. And vice versa – anything I add to my wishlist on my other devices just don't show up in Apple TV's wishlist. Mac and iOS wishlists seem to be syncing fine, but Apple TV refuses to sync properly.

Is this the way Apple TV is supposed to work, or something is broken and needs to be fixed?

I have the last generation Apple TV, updated to the latest OS version just today. Can't say if this worked fine with the previous OS since I never tested wishlists before.

I would be glad for any help.

Another vote for this feature - the combination of the AppleTV watch later list and iTunes Wish List - I often browse films on my iPad on the way from work, and check what to watch later that night. Would be great to combine them, Feedback left with Apple.

So far as I am aware, it has always been that way.

Thanks for your quick reply.

If that's so, it's super confusing. I mean, Apple always proudly states how their devices work together very well, but it seems that for some reason, sometimes they don't.

Nothing changed - my iT wish list is empty although I have created 50+ in ATV - wishing that Apple fixes this...

I just discovered this "gap" today. It seems pretty basic to me that wish lists should sync between devices. After all, I use the same Apple ID with each device. Wouldn't syncing wish lists ultimately result in more movie rentals?

Hopefully Apple monitors these boards and will take note of our comments.

This is an odd omission I agree.

I also find it odd there is no wishlist in the Mac App Store.

Seriously, this post has been going for YEARS and Apple hasn't fixed this yet?!?!?! It's such an obvious thing to do. Of course I'm going to add stuff to my Wish List on my Apple TV and then I may want to buy or rent one of the movies on my list when I'm away from my Apple TV. Or vica versa.
