Camera shutter won't open

A couple days ago my iPod Touch said that there was not enough storage for me to take any more pictures. There was only 80 pictures and I've had over 150 in the device, so that was odd. Anyway, I took all the pictures off the iPod, and the camera app still won't open, as if it was still had no storage, however, no message pops up saying I have no storage. The shutter just stays closed. If I'm in an app and use the camera in the app, the same thing happens, and it will crash the app after a few seconds. I've already resetted the iPod and had no success. How do I fix this?

Try:

- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

iOS: How to back up

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
