I recently updated my iPhone 5 to iOS 7. I have noticed when I take pictures (inside or outdoors, with/without flash) they come out with a greenish tint if I have the camera set on "Photo." When I use Video, Square, or Pano the pictures come out fine. Is there some setting for this, or a defect of some sort? Thanks.
I have just started to get this issue on my iPhone8+ indoors everything is green in Photo, Video and Square mode but perfect in Portrait mode (and I have no filters on) - I am going to the Genius Bar and hopefully there is a 'fix' or they replace my phone
Just an addition to my green picture dilemna...I think the problem is/was me. I didn't realize that the filter setting in Camera could be changed, and must have inadvertently set it for "instant or transfer,' which resulted in greenish pictures. I thought the filtering was done after taking the pictures...which can be done I found out with playing around with a couple of greenish pictures. Methinks problem is solved.
Richard -- thank you for posting this ! I had no idea why I was getting green-tinted photos. I was ready to take my iPhone into the Genius Bar. I think it is a bit too easy to make this mistake.
Can I get some help. I have exactly the same issue and I can’t figure out how to fix it! I’ve been into settings can can’t find an issue. I have the iPhone 8plus with the most recent iOS.
