iOS 7.0.2 iMessage problems

I'm having the same issue! Very frustrating.

Try the general reset:

1. Simultaneously hold down the on'off button and the home button until the Apple logo appears.

This usually fixes most iMessage issues.

I am having the same issue! I have done a hard reset, and a resetting network settings and nothing has worked!

I tried a hard reset because that had fixed issues I with iMessage previously for example with the beta, but with this update (7.0.2) a hard reset does not seem to be working. :/

If you have tried all the above steps and nothing is working, try going into Settings, iMessage, Send & Receive. Make sure the emails are checked for the Apple ID. There seems to be some activation issues with iMessage and FaceTime. If these steps do not work, I would suggest turning of iMessage and send traditional text messages until the issue us resolved with Apple.

A lot of people are having this issue. I have had it on my IP4 since the 7.0.2 update. A quick search of the internets shows we are not alone. A hard restart will fix it, for a while, but it will come right back eventually. Hard resets are going to be the only thing we can do until Apple acknowledges it and fixes it in the next release, unfortuantely. Just watch all your iMessages until the complete the send process. When they hang longer than normal, you'll know it's time to restart. Keep this discussion upfront so Apple knows and fixes. Good luck.

I have the same problem with an iPhone 5 on 7.0.2

A hard reset helps for approximately a day, after that iMessages doesnt work again...

Yes, having this issue about once a day. A phone reset or going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings resolves the issue.

I tried a full system restore and everything has been running properly since last night.

Same problems on iphone5 7.0.2 only a reset seems to fix it and doing that everyday is extremely annoying. hoping they fix the problem soon.

Having the same issue with an iPhone 4s. Reset seems to be the only fix, daily.

Status : iPhone 5 (64gb), 7.0.2, At&t

Issue : iMessage not going through. The progress bar stops (and gets stuck there) at the last 5-10%, has been a day now.

Troubleshoot :

• Turned on/off imessage.
• Checked all the email and phone #s.
• Turned on/off Airplane mode.
• Turned off imessage, reboot, turned on imessage

Avoiding reset, since reading from the post, the problem does come back.

I'm having the same issue on my iPhone 5 64GB, AT&T. Soft reset lasts for only about a day. This is really annoying.
