Time Machine has backups since january but only showing since last week

Hey guys,

I have time machine running since I dont know when... On Time Machine options it says since january this year.

I'm trying to recover a very important backup but it is only showing backups since last week which is not enough.

There is more than a TB inside time capsule but it doesn't seems to be working I guess.

Tha backups from last week are white lines on time machine which I suppose was done on the computer harddrive.

Do I have any options here?

I don't want to mess with my precious backups.

Thank you...

I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

tmutil listbackups | awk -F/ '{print $NF}' | cut -f1-3 -d- | open -ef

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).

Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.

Paste into the Terminal window (command-V).

A TextEdit window will open with the output of the command. The output shows the dates of existing Time Machine snapshots.
