easylifeapp virus - help!

My computer has been infected with the easylifeapp virus. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it? Should I take my computer to the Genius Bar?

Mac Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

That is not currently a problem on Macs.

Who says you are "infected" with this anyway? Maybe it is just in a file somebody sent you, waiting to infect your PC.

It's not a virus and it only affects Windows. Your real problem is that you installed useless, time-wasting "anti-virus" software. I suggest you remove it according to the developer's instructions. Back up all data before making any changes.

Easylifeapp is not a virus, but a Google Chrome browser extension that can make Chrome sluggish or unusable.

Do not use any "anti-virus" utility in an attempt to eradicate it or resolve any other issues you may experience. If you are having trouble with your Mac, please describe the symptoms.
