Crash on Arabic text entry

Have been using for Motion for about 3 months and loving it, but then life went bad. Working on a project which needs arabic text, I told the client that it was not a problem. Little did I know, at first all was great, created some stingers. Then for no reason all my project files started to crashing when I changed the text, checked the font it was fine, started new file in motion and the same problem. HELP.

G5 Quad Mac OS X (10.4.6)

What font are you using?

Have checked the Font (Al Bayan) one of MAC standard fonts, and used others with the same result. Any other ideas?

If you haven't already, try Geeza Pro. That's the primary OS X Arabic font. Al Bayan is from OS 9.

Have checked that font for that exact reason, but with the same result, thanks for the suggestion, now I have another fault occuring. When I have shared some of the projects with FCP, some how a alpha mask gets activated and messes up the file, I can go in via Open in Editor and correct it and that resolves it but why did it happen?
