Q: is it possible to airdrop between iPhone 5s and moutain lion 10.8.5.

Both phone and pc cant find each other in airdrop, phone is enabled to everyone.

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

You are right. The system that Apple uses for AirDrop is different in iOS and Mac OS X, so you can only use AirDrop on the iPhone with other iPods touch, iPhones and iPads, and you can only use AirDrop on the Mac with other Macs
