I have the same problem 2 days after I asked Amex to reverse double charges by World Series of Poker app.

I haven't asked Apple to re-enable it yet but after the IOS7 fiasco I'm thinking about dropping out of the Apple kingdom altogether.

I wonder if they are planning on sending me any notice that they disabled by ID?

Call Apple Support at 800-275-2273.  I had this same problem after I had unauthorized charges on my itunes account.  My Apple ID was disabled and I was unable to get music, apps, etc, using itunes or my iphone.   It took about 30 mins but they resolved the issue.  They enabled my ID and I reset my password.  They will need to know the exact message you get when you try to do anything because sometimes the ID is disabled for security reasons.

    Good Luck!

I had encountered the same problem. I was still able to log in and manage my apple ID but when purchasing songs, apps, etc, I still received the apple id is disabled message. After speaking with several representatives, it was determined that my apple ID was disabled because one of the credit cards associated with my iTunes account was removed after a charge dispute. After verifying the account info, the representative was able to re-enable the account.

This is interesting. I had the same thing happen when I disputed charges for online game credits they never delivered. I disputed it through PayPal and Apple never responded to the dispute and PayPal eventually reimbursed my account.

So what's the deal? Apple gets ****** off and messes with the id yet they never respond to the dispute process???

I guess I have to call the 800#.

    This is stupid.

I just had the best experience with a SR Agent Corey - my issue was my credit card was banned for some reason.  I had had fraud on my one listed and it was evidently rejected.  He was able to help me verify my account and get new cc information loaded - he reset the site a couple times and stayed with me until I was able to log in and update - Very Thankful!

if you can log into your appleid.apple.com account and you still get an error that your appleid is disabled then iTunes probably locked your account. You will need to call iTunes account and billing dept to unlock.

me 2! did you happen to figure out the issue yet? I was wondering if you did, maybe you can pass some advice along as to how the heck i can get my apple id "enabled" again. I was reading previous comments and it seems when you change credit cards or have fraudulent charges and report them- they disable your apple id?! Thats exactly what happened to me, AND I changed my passsword 50 times, but when I reset I go to change some security questions just incase it ever happens again for any other reasons, and it seems as if I forgot my security questions so I get locked out again, and the option to send an email to a recovery address which is my email @FACEBOOK.COM! why in gods world did I choose a facebook email (?) as my reccovery address?! It baffles me. ITS SO CONFUSING, did I mention FRUSTRATING? =[ AHHHH! Your help would be much appreciated, or if anyone reading this can help! Just "enabling" my apple id would be enough, i can careless about the security questions/recovery address..i can always figure that out lateer!

    Thank You!
